What A Beautiful Day!

This is the day that the Lord has made. It was so nice today. I would not mind if it stayed like this year round. I am starting to feel like my old self. The sunshine today really helped. The Lord knows just what we need.

I will be going to the doctor on Friday and am hoping that I can go back to work next week. I still don't know what I will be doing, but I know that the Lord will help me with what ever my knew job will be.

Lyndsey will be leaving for Africa in less than two week. Please pray for her and her mission. She will be traveling by herself. Her first flight will be 14 hours long. I will miss her a lot. She will only be gone for 5 weeks this time, but plans on moving there after the first of the year if everything works out.

Toby and Shelby got to hear the baby heart beat on Monday. They are both so excited. Toby said that he knew that it was a boy because the heart beat was real fast. I teased him and told him that It was a girl because his heart beat was never that fast.

Douglas is still working on 3rd shift. This month he is suppose to start working days. He is planning on moving to Lafayette. It has been so nice to have him living so close, even though I only see him about once a week.

Well I better go and try to sleep for awhile. I seem to have my nights and days mixed up. It is almost time for me to be getting up.

Two more operation!

On August 11Th they had to give me 2 pints of blood. I was running a real high fever. August 12Th I had another drain tube put back in and then on August 13Th I had to be open up. They found that I had a lot of infection. Dr. Z had to go in and clean it all out. They have let me opened and a visiting nurse comes every other day and removes all this black sponge and replaces it with new. I have a wound vac machine which is removing all the fluid.

This has been quite experience for me. The Lord has been faithful and is helping me.

Please continue to pray for Ray and I. This is hard on Ray. He is doing my IVs every 12 hours, and helping with my personal needs. Lyndsey has been a real blessing. She has help through the night hours and with the house work. Lyndsey has another job besides helping out here. I pray daily that the Lord will give her the extra strength that is needed.
